October Subdue the Shelf Roll Requests
And as an added note I am cheering on Sue to roll off the board next time (believing this round 2 for her) and someone finally moves into the Station Master Board!!!
Today's roll took me off the end of my Conductor Loop edited to fix loop numbers
Joy D wrote: "Today's roll took me off the end of my Conductor Loop 7 Board. I'll set up Loop 8."Wow, Joy! That is amazing!
Joanne wrote: "And as an added note I am cheering on Sue to roll off the board next time (believing this round 2 for her) and someone finally moves into the Station Master Board!!!"All the Cabanna Boys, firefighters and even CGI Tom are doing handsprings at the idea of a new Station Master, finally! Train Management is pretty happy about it too and has the tailor on standbye to fit the new uniform.
Oh! I hadn't realized I'd put such a long book on my board! 600+ pages. Ah well, assuming I manage to finish it, I guess at this level, I will get a bonus die or something. (Well, that 600+ pages is my mass market paperback, so I'll have to check the "official" page numbering first.)

I will also use the bonus from 09/24 - move forward 2 spaces. That puts me on #90
Make It Up MondaySo sorry, Amy, but you are Ursula's victim this week. After you finish your current book, please move back 3.
Finally ready for a roll (6)Swapped my last book for Anathem, which has 960 pages:
https://www.amazon.com/Anathem-Neal-S...
That is so funny! And here I had this whole plan for reading the Egypt game, and then using my special advantage and getting to read witch hunt for fall flurries!!! They are both out of the library waiting! I guess I gotta figure the whole new plan out. It was about time. I can’t wait to see what Ursula has in store for me.
@ Amy. your last roll was a # 1 (0n Sept 26th) and so according to your rolls and board you should, at this point, be on #43. You should read that book and then go back 3 from there. I am going to IM Anita and have her double check on this though.
I am ready for a new roll (1)My book fit the September Tag (tagged LF 8 times) and I get an extra move!! My first time getting this!
I was just getting on to sort this out. I am using/used 3 participation points to move to spaces along with the roll of one, so my next book is the Egypt Game at 45. And the 3 spaces back puts me back at the Crimson Thread, which I have already read. So I remain on 42, but will read the Rain Heron at number 41 before rolling again. I am pretty sure I am just going to read Witch Hunt anyway for flurries, and not use the advantage yet and ask for a roll after that. I am about to do some emboldening..... Watch me go. And then tell Tom I will be at Northeastern all afternoon and evening.

1. You landed on 42 and read Crimson Thread.
2. Then you rolled a 1, which takes you to 43, but you used participation points to take you to 45. You are currently reading The Eygpt Game.
3. When you finish the Eygpt Game, you move back 3 (dang unlucky Ursula, so back to 42. Since you have already read Crimson Thread, you will read The Rain Heron instead.
All GOOD!!! Thank you.

Yep, Tom is there in the back row, supposedly listening to the lecture...I think he is scouting talent, watch out Amy he may get you to sign on to his next film!
Yes! This is my complete understanding!!! Thank you for recapping it. This way we are all clear with all train riders and movie goers!!!
Rolls for 10/3:Pam 4-4-1-5-6-2

Sorry my husband has spine surgery today and I guess I am distracted!!
Sending best wishes to your husband. If you need a substitute roller for a day or two I'm more than willing to step in to help.
In conjunction with this roll, I am using a tag-related benefit to move forward 2, putting me on space #6.No worries, Anita. I am amazed at how you can keep up with this game daily as it is. Sending you good vibes for all to go well!
Rachel, that would be greatly appreciated! Obviously my mind is elsewhere because I wasn’t time pressed yesterday.
No matter who does the rolls I'm going to start today's roll request list to make life easierRoll requests 10-4

Anita wrote: "Rachel, that would be greatly appreciated! Obviously my mind is elsewhere because I wasn’t time pressed yesterday."No worries Anita. I'll do the rolling until you tell me you are ready to return.
Thank you Rachel! Anita-keep your mind focused there, and know all good thoughts are traversing your way
I've got a PT appointment so I'm going to roll now for Cheryl. I'll check back tonight if there are any other requests.
Anita - we got this! You just focus on Richard and your family and yourself! Rachel N - don't let Ursula boss you around!
Oooo more important things to focus on, Anita - take it easy xoAnd that's another 6-5 for me *sighs*

If you roll:
1-1: The current leader must move back 3 spaces on their game board and read the book where they have landed next.
Any combination totaling 7: You move 7 spaces and stay on that space, but you may read the book you land on OR one book forward or one book back - - your choice.
6-6: Don't like the book you will land on? You may roll again.
3-1: You get to take pick someone's next move on the board. The admins will use random.org to decide who will be moved. You get to decide which book they must move to next on their game board - - backward or forward -- within a 15 book radius. So you can move your opponent up to 15 spaces back or up to 15 spaces forward to the book of your choosing. Should you be reluctant to move another player ,or if you do not respond to an administrator's request to designate the move, random.org will move the player - odd rolls will move the player backward and even rolls will move the player forward.
2-1: You may use up to 3 of your participation points to move yourself ahead up to 3 spaces.
6-5: You must read a book that's on someone else's board and NOT on your own before you may roll again. (extra note here: you may read the book you land on first and then read the other person's book, or vice-versa. So two books must be completed before you re-roll).
4-4: Receive 4 participation points for the next book you read/review.
2-3 Get an extra "swap" that you may use anytime during the game.
6-4 Earn a surprise advantage to use anytime during the game
