Brittney Tatt | 4 comments None of the group new each other and they all came from different times and places. I specifically remember the woman was dressed in all pink and carried around an umbrella. She fell in love with the other man in the group who was from a different time period than her and at the end of the book when they all went home, he had to wait 1000 years to be with her again and it was like a couple minutes to her.

Male or female? Approximate age?

Brittney Tatt | 4 comments Yes, it was the young boy. Maybe 10-13?

Rainbowheart | 28704 comments Total long shot, but maybe something in The Indian in the Cupboard series?

Probably not the first book, but some of the sequels have female characters and people shrinking and going back and forth in time.

Brittney Tatt | 4 comments I don't think it's that. As far as I know, it wasn't a series.

Brittney Tatt | 4 comments I don't think either of those are it. I don't think it was a series, but if there's a chance that it was, it was definitely the first book. The lady in all pink is the main thing I remember, so any book that doesn't have that is not it! A strange detail, and maybe forgettable to others, but I remember it for certain! Thanks for the guesses :) Hopefully I'll find it soon! For a little more context, this book was read to me while I was in elementary school, so anything that wouldn't be appropriate for kids younger than 11 probably isn't it!
