How to get ARC's

Do you need a social media following to get ARC's? I don't do BookTok or Instagram for book content, I just have a Good Read and Amazon account. Can someone help me out?

There are giveaways on goodreads! They’re hard to win but if you enter a lot you will. I’ve entered in HUNDREDS and I’ve won like 6 haha

If you write reviews on amazon or goodreads you can sign up for NetGalley for ARCs. Having a following on Instagram and Tiktok can help.

there are groups on goodreads u can check out where authors actively look for reviewers to review their upcoming books

I would check out Giveaways to get ARCs! While many authors contribute on social media, they also do many on here (GoodReads). There are also publisher hosted ones as well. One website I recommend is BookishFirst, I've won about 5 out of the 9 giveaways I've applied for. While lately there haven't been any books that catch my interest, there may be some that catch yours! :)

sometimes you can go to authors websites and sign up for them. or sign up to gets them at pr websites! also giveaways on goodreads or tiktok or insta

Booksprout and Book Sirens both offer ARC. It's mostly indy authors.

i email the publishing house and tell them about my tiktok and sometimes when if im lucky they send me the book i ask for! x

doing reviews on insta/tiktok does help getting arcs.

one way is joining giveaways on various sites like goodreads, facebook, insta. i keep a separate acct on insta so I could join and keep my posts book related so they'll
know i have "bookstagram".

you could also sign up on netgalley. they don't require you to have thousands of followers. you just need to post a review on goodreads/ amazon. some arcs are available and no need to wait for an approval.

no need to post videos on instagram. i just post a picture of my current read and that is all. because some giveaways are specific to be "bookstagram" only. and it doesn't have to be a pretty picture also :p mine surely isn't

i won some giveaways over there and on some book blogs. if you are in the US there is a lot!

@emilyeverafter you can sign up on booksirens or directly on the website of the authors. They are on fb too, some of my arcs are from fb groups. But I think booksirens is more okay. I love book sirens but I'll try net galley nextime when I finish my other arcs.
