Here are some that I've read that were spooky to me!!

2 books by Eric LaRocca: "We Can Never Leave this Place" & "Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke" - fyi these are pretty dark so check trigger warnings!

"The Only One Left" and "Lock Ever Door" and "Home Before Dark" by Riley Sager! These aren't super scary (Home Before Dark is definitely the scariest imo) but I think they're perfect for spooky season!

Out There by Kate Folk! This is a collection of short stories that remind me so much of the show Black Mirror!

Any book by Simone St. James!! She writes super spooky ghost stories! My favs are Broken Girls & The Book of Cold Cases

Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak! I personally only gave this 2 stars but that was because it was boring to me lol. But it's definitely spooky & a lot of people on Booktok love it!

The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix! Omg this is the PERFECT book for spooky season. Just trust me lol I couldn't put it down
