I just finished it. I thought it was a good book.

I’ve started the book. After a few chapters where I wasn’t sure I would be interested by the story, I find it gets better. I am at day Minus 82 which I think is the day where the game starts.

Finished it last tuesday. Having read lately most of King's new books, this one it's different from those (more direct and raw) but it's also full of intrigue and excitement.

Liked and enjoyed a lot. I really liked the ending. (view spoiler)[ Richards knows that he has no chance to win the game early on, so he pushes so hard the bundaries to the end, to at least try to not be the only loser.

I really like this type of stories where the hopeless find a way to at least make some damage to the power who's tormenting them. (hide spoiler)]

Lulo, I never thought that was why he acted the way he did. (view spoiler)[My heart broke when they told him his wife and child were dead. He goes to do this because he can't get a job and needs money for his baby. I felt terrible about all the people that helped him along the way and how they met their demise. The mother that sold him out was so stupid. Didn’t she realize that she just sentenced her child to death?

The ending was priceless! The bounty hunter dies and he finds his was back to the gut in charge of the freevee and kills him.

The scene with him holding in his intestines while trying to parachute was a bit much. (hide spoiler)]

I also have finished the book. Cannot say I enjoyed this book a lot but probably because of the way it is written and mostly because I do not like dystopia. But wow! what en ending! Just for that it went from 3 stars to 4. Just for the ending, this book deserves to be read!
