The Dark Clue by James Wilson – 1 Star

This was a book that I really liked the premise of, but I found the story to be a bit lacking. The book took a long time for any of the suspense to actually start, and the mystery that I was expecting was disappointing. I read this book believing it to be a sequel to “The Woman in White”, but whilst the same characters are used, this book doesn’t seem to be any sort of sequel at all. It was also a very disturbing book to read (view spoiler)[with abusive sex, rape and incest (hide spoiler)], and whilst I could not recommend this book to anyone, it is at least now off my TBR!
