ReadwithA | 170 comments Dark academia books are perfect for fall, you should read the ninth house, the secret history or if we were villans. I also think reading classics are perfect during the fall, try frankenstein or the count of monte cristo. Some of these are on my fall tbr.

Aleesha (words_linger) | 40 comments I think I'm going to jump back into A Discovery of Witches trilogy. If you love dark academia, this one's right up your alley, it's got witches and vampires and daemons, and a missing alchemy book that gets rediscovered by accident. It's loaded with atmosphere and beautiful writing. Some will say it's slow, but really, you just have to marinate yourself in all the vibes.

If you want something shorter and lighter... Wild is the Witch is really good. It's set in the Northwest US, involves a curse gone awry and a runaway owl and a hike through the forest. It's YA so a bit easier to get through, but I read it last year and literally cannot stop thinking about it to this day.
