I actually only found out about Lisa's performance this morning, and honestly, I felt sick when I heard. I feel like at this point some of the members are pushing the boundaries just to see how far they can go...Also, random but I heard Rose is the only member of BP that signed her renewal contract with YG!
And yes I also heard about the contracts. I think Lisa should leave K-pop and become an international artist. She is definitely more interested in that stuff now.
I mean those kinds of comments are harsh... but what would you expect when she goes onto stage in her literal underwear and bra...I think that's why I was so disgusted and disappointed when I heard, because I can see American artists doing something like that, but I would never have though a K-pop artist would go that far. So, I agree with AJ, and I think Lisa should just become an international artist.
I had never heard about that place before this. I read on YouTube that, that place is infamous for making n*de women dance in front of rich men. It's so problematic.
It's not just for lisa with me actually. I don't like it when Cardi B, Lil Nas X or Nicki Minaj show their body to that extent either.

K-pop in general I feel like is getting way to westernized like... Ok so like... in my opinion 4th gen is the best (again my opinion) because i feel like its just the right amount of western tastes and K-pop. A lot of people are saying that K-pop shouldn't follow the western image, I however don't agree, I think it's totally fine. Because you are showing different cultures while combining it with your own and making it so it can be universally enjoyed. BUT I do believe there should be a line with how far they go and I think Lisa is one of those that has gone a little to far into that. But I am also not just picking on Lisa, I think several other artists have done the same thing (I can really only think of Jackson Wang at the moment.)
❃A.J❃ {Semi-Hiatus} wrote: "OMG I love Jackson Wang! Did he do something scandalous as well?!"Ok no sorry, I meant more of his solo music lately. Sorry for confusing you! But I will love Jackson forever... but his latest music... it's definitely western and not K-pop.
OMG I'm so glad to hear that. I'll be honest I haven't heard a lot of his music. I just love him for his visuals and personality! HE IS ADORABLE!!!
Well here's the thing. He was basically getting called out for saying China was a good place. And how he was sick and tired of the social constructions of how people view China. And what he was talking about was how Chinese people, especially in K-pop are treated differently because of the politics in their country. And I feel like a lot of people were taking what he actually said out of context. And the "speech" honestly wasn't that weird. It sounded like any other artist talking about their experiences.
At least that is what I think he was talking about in the literal 2 minutes that he mentioned China. The rest of his speech was talking about he wanted everyone to be happy and to treat people equally.
Ohmygosh I'm so sorry, I wasn't coming at you. I'm sorry if it came across that way.And his Coachella performance was amazing lol

See I am usually the exact opposite lol
I have to say I did not like Jennie's appearance in the idol. But I also have only seen like one of her scenes, so I can't really go in depth with it...
Hey guys! I am back. @nat when I talked about crazy horse being problematic that was only because I saw that on YouTube so I don't know for sure. But I think the "rich men" stuff must have happened a long time back.
@Emily It's not just about Jennie's appearance. It's a show that is very toxic and glorifies r@pe. A lot of western audiences who are not into Jennie also criticised it. It wasn't called the worst show of the year for nothing!

nat ♡ wrote: "i dont stan got7 so i dont know that much about the scandal but he acted weird during his concert and gave a REALLY weird speech"oh yeah! i remember!

Ohmygosh I think so too!!!
nat ♡ wrote: "the best 4th gen gg is itzy for me"but their music now is not as good as it used to be for me
nat ♡ wrote: "anyway, this is just my opinion so ofc you can disagree :)@jennie who would you consider the best 4th and 3rd gen gg?"
3rd gen is obvs twice!
not sure about my 4th gen pick yet!

bro that's what i'm saying about bts.
their english songs aren't the best but you can't disagree that they produced a lot of iconic and music that connects them to fans with beautiful meaningful lyrics for years.

OK JISOO IS THE MOST STABLE ONE THO! I AGREE WITH THAT
My unpopular opinion is that the members of BTS are way better as soloists and not as a group. At least lately...
nat ♡ wrote: "emily you are gonna get cancelled now TTTT this group is full of armys TTi wont cancel u tho xx"
I KNOWWWWWW!
And honestly I was an Army for awhile... but their newer stuff just lost me! BUT I do listen to all their solo projects!
@emily It's the complete opposite for me! I love BTS together instead of as soloists. Even though they are amazing soloists, I still love them as a group better.
@Emily, noo- stop ✋😂😂 i see what u mean because when some groups become soloist, not each member gets fame sadly 😔 but for bts, they were all successful w their debut album. so yeah i understand why ur thinking thatbut in the same time their chemistry as a group was unmatched. as a group, they were very successful together, winning many awards and beating a lot of records. this is me viewing them as an army, but people who aren’t armys also know that as well.
they all individually successfully rose which i’m so happy for but the group was their base and the start of their success. if it wasn’t for the group, would they ever had become what they are now? highly not. so for me, i love them all as a group and soloist, and they will do great as a group and soloists (waiting for 2025 y’all-), but it was them as a group that led them to where they are now.
…yeah. 😇😇
I completely disagree! BTS together drove each member to their own success. Both BTS and the members won many awards and made history. Sure, them being soloists are just as successful as they were together, but as the members always say, they wouldn’t have done it without each other. Plus, BTS has the one of the biggest discography and each album is very successful! And just the members being separated makes all the global armies feel a deep sadness. Sorry, your comment about you preferring BTS separated made me feel a little sad, as a hardcore army. 😭 You probably prefer their songs as soloists but that doesn’t necessarily make them more successful than they were as a group!I see you love StratKids! 😊😊 Would you feel sad if the members break up and go off in their other paths?
