SOLVED. Book about a girl with a friend who's a pathological liar [s]

I read this book around 10-15 years ago, as far as I remember it'll be a fairly short book aimed at older children.

All I remember of the plot is there are two friends, one tells a lot of lies like I won a yellow dress that's being delivered by the queen. But with the lies there's always one detail that makes you question that even the most outlandish things might be true.

I also remember that the lying girl drowned some kittens so her dad wouldn't do it, and that inside this girl's house (farm?) was an unpleasant place so they mostly hung out around the 'normal' girls house.


This is literally all I remember :(

Haha, I was just looking for this book. I am almost certain it's The Tulip Touch. It's a pretty memorable book.
