I'm at 35%. Couldn't get to a computer so here's my thoughts:

Firstly, this author uses WAAAAAAAY too many semicolons.

I'm hooked in. I can't figure out what's going on, but I want to know. I'm amazed at how a book with so few characters can keep me entertained. It feels like it would make a good play.

Tom is adorable.

I think the writing drops in quality around the party. It needs a bit of work there.

Gabriel sounds like a complete mystery still. I'm not sure how old he's supposed to be, what he's doing in life, or any of his past. I feel like we should know more by now. It makes the party feel strange. Who are these people? Why would he want to throw a party anyway?

This girl has a thing for guys who treat her badly. I like how she's trying to be stronger, but I wish Gabriel would work on being nicer.

Little confused how a relationship with someone who's a man one moment and a kid the next would work. Sleeping with him would be odd.

Still don't really know anything about Gabriel...

From the beginning I thought Gabriel changed to Tom at night and it seemed that way until just now the last chapter, now I'm wondering if It's really Rebecca/Caden who has a split personality, well I guess only time will tell. (view spoiler)[ Well now I'm still confused although I have to say I think were meant to be throughout, so although caden and tom/Gabriel have fallen out there's still a part of her that wants Gabriel more than Tom which in a wacky way I guess I can see but still so confusing. I'm glad she got to stay with Face and Angelica though she got a bit more background on and found out more about Angelica as well as saw the lesson of adapting. Bit of a coincidence that Cassandra has also experienced divorce and been left for another women though as well as caden's own mother isn't it (hide spoiler)]

Ok so I finally finished
(view spoiler)[ I didn't like the last few chapters mainly because of hthe way the events played out the whole hitting Tom with a car and then being permanently left with him during the day and then at the end finding out Gabriel had taken Tom's nighttime spot, but I don't like the cliffhanger it was left on.
