Getting REAL Tired of these 'I'm not a robot' Verifications

These 'I'm not a robot' verifications are getting out of hand. How many images do I have to click just to update a book on my reading list.
My last one I felt I had to click over 20 times on SEVERAL DIFFERENT images.
And 23 over 3 images just for this posting!
Plus 2 more because this about a book.
Plus 6 more because it made me choose a book!

Did you know that it's not just HOW fast you click that matters, but in what pattern (in what order) you click? Random or systematic, etc.

But nowadays bots can simulate this even better than humans themselves. So Captcha is now a mechanism for recognizing humans, although it should actually be the other way around (recognizing bots).
