I see it on your shelf.
Oh good. lol I just read another one (Slewfoot: A Tale of Bewitchery) so if you don't see it on Wheel shelf, let me know. I'm on my computer today though so it should be good. I'm also going to read Watcher in the Woods so it should be good, too. Fingers crossed!

No worries...still plenty of time. Feel free to add more if you get more finished :)
About 90 minutes left on the official countdown to the start of Round 5.We're currently still at #1 by the hair of our chinny, chin-chin. We'll see how it shakes out.
There'll be a race for 4 teams competing for that #1 spot as we wind down in this next round...we'll do the best we can to hold on :)...but having fun reading the books we love as we go :)
Thanks everyone! Enjoy these last 2 weeks of our challenge and I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah or other special holiday has a fun and pleasant time preparing. Keep us posted on your progress if you like sharing :) 🎄🕎❄️
Here's the link to the status sheet for those who are interested.

I am just wondering if anyone else has read any of The Bridgertons series by Julia Quinn. Did you like it?
Tammie or anyone else who can answer this question, I posted Bing Crosby and Benny Goodman from one of my books, but I don’t know if the book needs to be about the person or if a mention is good enough. Since I am on my phone, I can’t find the answer to my question so if somebody can let me know, I can remove it from the spreadsheet from my phone easy enough. Thanks!
M wrote: "I am just wondering if anyone else has read any of The Bridgertons series by Julia Quinn. Did you like it?"I read the series a long time ago, but I remember liking it.
Vicki wrote: "Tammie or anyone else who can answer this question, I posted Bing Crosby and Benny Goodman from one of my books, but I don’t know if the book needs to be about the person or if a mention is good en..."So on this one...it can't be just a mention in the book...like finding the name. The story needs to be 'about' a musician. So an autobiography about a well know artist like Bing Crosby would be find or a book with a 'rock star' main character.
If this doesn't answer your question, let me know.
M wrote: "I am just wondering if anyone else has read any of The Bridgertons series by Julia Quinn. Did you like it?"Romance isn't my favorite genre but I find the beginning of The Duke and I refreshing. Plot-wise, I find it a pretty typical romance. Would recommend it if you are looking for a gossipy type of light read. ;)
I hope everyone is enjoying your books! I'm headed in to a weekend of btb holiday parties...anyone else have fun extras going on?
Next week my priority will the the BOM which I haven't even started :) I just finished
which was and excellent historical novel based on true events. If you like that genre...I definitely recommend this one :)
Tammie, I read
on audio. It's 4 hours 31 minutes long, but no page number. This formula was used, so does this work?Total length into minutes (271)
x150 words per minute (40,650)
/250 words per page (162.6 pages)
So 163 pages?

good questions Vicki :)
Here's the rule for this particular challenge...set to 100 pgs and just note (audio only) in the description. Have you looked 'everywhere' for another format?...we could summon the GRs librarians to add an edition if we could find an edition somewhere else. I'm out and about right now...but could look later if needed.
◈ Audio books are allowed. For page numbers, use the "default" GR book page numbers. If the "default" is a Large Print version, use the next most popular edition for page numbers. If there is no print / ebook, then the audio book must be longer than 3 hours, and page numbers will be set at 100 pages, no matter how long the audio is.
OK, if I understand your post correctly, I can only put 100 pages? I looked on Goodreads and Amazon and both said 0 pages. Made no sense to me, but I don't know anywhere else to look. I'll set it to 100 pages on the SS. It does show a Kindle version published by Montlake, but it still shows 0 pages.

There are a few books like this out there...not sure why a book would only be audio...I guess that's why they have the ruling.
Thanks Vicki for attempting the search!
Is everyone looking forward to the holidays?I have two more days (today included) at my part time job and then I'll have a break for winter break. Looking forward to having my weekends free for a month and having more time to read.
So far so good Natasha. I'm multi tasking with reading and working on a Christmas letter I send to family and friends from our original home back in Nebraska.
So far we've attended 3 holiday gatherings...I've 2 tomorrow...1 for lunch and another dinner...another Friday and Saturday so the partying is definitely in full swing here.
I'm about 70% on shopping...just need to work on stockings and a few other things :)
How about you?
Shopping the library sale today for something new. Are we good for colour cover and round bonus? I can't access the spread sheet on the mobile app.
Love those library sales...we have a huge one here in St. Louis once a year...it's held at the arena...we bring our rolling luggage with us and buy books people have donated to benefit the library...it's pretty fun...hope you found some good ones M!We need one more for the bonus! Everything else is covered if we all finish as planned.
We're at the slowest pace we've been for the challenge...I'm sure we're all thinking about the holidays :)🎄
I've been reading longer books this round as some of us are it may be deceiving. Enjoy the rest of the week and I'm hopeful you are enjoying your books as well :)
Doing some SS Maint...Please see the SS...the bright blue highlights are books missing from SS...
M
Lisa
Rebecca
Cindy
Vicki...Anxious People needs a date
also Cindy...Never Fall for Your Fake Fiancé is missing from the SS. Just want to be sure it's read.
Thanks much!
Yes I just haven’t had a chance to get on the computer to log it. I have finished another book I need to add and will probably have another one finished to add also when I get the chance tomorrow nightAnd I got dead of night added to my shelf, sorry
Finished another book for the round. My husband and I are having a Christmas party on Saturday so I'm not sure if I'll get done the shorter book I'm reading by then.

Timer reflects official end time...please try to have your books posted a couple of hours prior to the end of this if possible :)

@Tammie, I don't know why the Anxious People doesn't show it's on my wheels shelf because it is. I don't have a duplicate and I don't have the wrong book marked so not sure why. Also, I just got back from my granddaughter's graduation and it was SO NICE! But I have a couple books to add but it won't be until tomorrow since I have to watch my grandkids at 4:45 AM until 4:00 or so tomorrow afternoon.

Two more days Team Classical! Please try to have everything posted by noon (CentralUS) Saturday. If you haven't already, please comment if a book is on it's way and is not on the SS already.
Thanks much!
See the timer on our SS for the deadline :)
Remember the timer on our WSS is 4 hours ahead of the official start of the next round...this is to allow for SS updating and the fact that your captains have busy Saturday afternoons.
For the final week, we'll adjust this so it's tighter if possible :)
