I was trying to get back here to see if we were ok before the round ended, and our internet went down. There's a utility pole at the end of our driveway that has the main cable/internet lines on it so when there's repairs to be done we lose service😡
I'm guessing we start the new round in roughly an hour right?

ROUND 4 BEGINS
🚨We're all checked in, round 3 is over, it's time for VIOLA POMPOSA!
All books finished from now on count for round 4. We also have the spreadsheet tabs for round 4 ready, so do start adding the books you're reading.
If you need help checking your books for the bonus genre words or getting the locations, just shout! We'll find a way to find it 😉
As for round 3, we've spelled out WAGNER TUBA fully 11 times and were just one book shy of a 12th one - incredible job! We read more books total than for either of the first two rounds and got a whole 500 more points 💪😤
I'm so sorry about an easy death in the last round 😭😭😭 i just didn't get the chance. I have had so much going on.
What's worse is that i actually read a different book on the 16th that would have finished our last spell out. I just forgot to put it on the list.😡

ROUND 4 BONUS UPDATE
🚨Tier 2: 10 colour covers, increased limits on genres found in text subject to: - must have 10 different unique genres; after that can only find a genre 2 more times (i.e. max 3 Polka)
(just like during Round 2 with the cities)
We're doing good so far with them! We have 8 unique ones planned so far, hopefully a few more can be found :)

I'd been hoping for a KU deal but it doesn't seem like they think that's necessary (and I don't know if I want to pay 12€ for that right now if I've got plenty of books to read at my fingertips!!)

Some pretty decent options already. I like anything but cozy mystery! Cranberry sauce and macaroni &cheese are particularly good ones. If we go for opening an option, I plump for cornbread. I miss cornbread so much. And sweet tea. And biscuits and gravy. I make myself iced tea all the time, but there's a two week window where i can make sun tea over here. Y'all appreciate the sun, if youre lucky enough to live somewhere with it shining constantly.

I feel like they might if you do cancel your subscription. I had audible two or three times for a couple of months each and every time I canceled I got some deal offers maybe the following month? They definitely want us to come back!

ugh, Iris Kelly Doesn't Date has polka in it, but it's "polka-dotted" and hyphenated words aren't allowed - I disagree with the reasoning behind it but what can we do...in better news, I randomly found bhangra in a book I'm reading anyway, so that's a nice W for us!
I've been trying to reply to Aoife's comment with the book list and it's not letting me... so here we goIt turns out All Fired Up is a Kindle freebie (right now?) so I guess I know what I'm reading next 😅 I've been feeling very uninspired by the books I feel like I should be reading next so I'm just going to do something random that'll help us

I also got the Deserts, Driving, & Derelicts as a freebie from Amazon before and I think they're in KU :) they're under 200 pages and the first 10 I think have bluegrass in them lol
I had to start something else cause I was getting bored of what I had planned and none seemed interesting but Doom and Broom is so easy to listen to

How's everyone doing? Anyone get a deal over the weekend with the black friday/ cyber monday offers? I've been looking through BookBub to see what's going on offer on Amazon for kindle soon and getting ready to read some Christmas books.
Going to look to see if I have more O books - seems to be the letter we're low on the most! If anyone has suggestions throw them out :)
We've also found 14 instruments and got the 10 unique ones! We've found folk and spiritual the max 3 times each as well.
I'm busy losing my mind lol today has been another hell day at work... and after many years of not getting anything, I bought three (🙈) Sims expansion packs, a couple quilt and cross stitch patterns as well as fabric to make one of those quilts... oops! The fabric is shipping to my friend's place for shipping cost reasons so I won't get it until January - plenty of time to actually get my current quilt done.(and yes, for those of you in my TT team, that's still the same one and I'm making progress! it's nearly done in fact! 2-3 more days of work I think, if I can finally get a few uninterrupted hours again... will definitely share a photo once I'm done)
