Please correct to the first edition Kindle page count (388). Thanks.

Task 4 - 12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
You can do the recommendations however you wish - to the group, to each individual, to the person below you on the list or ?? - it's up to you. If you want to provide a specific shelf to pick from, it needs to have a minimum of 10 books on it. Please include a link to the message with the recommendations in your completion posts.

Anything from my read 4 stars and above."
Is this for us to pick for you? Or is this your recs to us?

ETA: read shelf: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

My shelf is mostly filled with manga and stuff you've both already read. So, I think you both might want to just stick with the picks you chose already. LOL. I used to have an old Goodreads account, a long time ago, that had thousands of read books. Buuuut I ended up deleting that account. So, there's less than 300 on this one.

12. Read a book recommended to you by a teammate - no pass for this task.
Book: Eidolon

How it fits: Rec'd by Vi here and here

Task 5 - 21. Each teammate reads a book with a night sky on the cover, no pass for this task.
You can use any edition’s cover to qualify for this task, but remember to use the first edition Kindle page count. Make sure cover isn’t just dark, but actually shows a night sky - stars, moon, city skyline, etc. Please include the qualifying cover in your completion posts.

EDIT: I guess I'm going to read Where the Forest Meets the Stars

That's a really good book! Patricia Briggs is an excellent writer.

21. Each teammate reads a book with a night sky on the cover, no pass for this task.
Book: Meddling Kids by Edgar Cantero
Pages: 322
Date Read: Oct 3
Rating: 1 star (This book was so, so, so bad.)
How it Fits: There's a night sky and moon at the top of the book cover.

That last book left such a BAD taste in my mouth. I hated it. I wanted to DNF it so many times. I'm stubborn and always have to finish a book, though. It's an annoying part of my personality. LOL.

No worries! That gives me time to read a palate cleansing book. LOL. I don't know how anyone enjoyed that book.
I'll go ahead and read another In Death book or something while I wait for you two to wrap up your current book. Obviously, no rush. xD

I'm so sorry. I really, really hate when that happens.
I have a hard time with most fantasy/paranormal erotic romance novels. I know that a ton of people in these challenges read them.
I appreciate that they're quick, easy reads. However, most of them fall flat for me. There are a handful of women who I think do it phenomenally, and I can read their works like crazy, but most of them I have a hard time with.

21. Each teammate reads a book with a night sky on the cover, no pass for this task.
The Mane Squeeze 401pgs
10/4/23 - 2 stars - The interactions between the H/h were cute, but this type of humor is not for me.
How it fits: moon on cover

I’m finding that a lot of series I used to read are just not keeping my attention anymore

Oh Breann, I get what you mean. I'm not a fan of this humor too. I've read them for challenges like Kathryn said but I've not always enjoyed it.

21. Each teammate reads a book with a night sky on the cover, no pass for this task.
