💖 A beautiful read 💖

Shadows on the Moon just has everything I loved in a book and so in that regards is very much a comfort read for me. That's not to say that it was an easy read as there were some serious themes and possible triggers such as PTSD and self-harm. However, I do love the historical Japanese inspired setting and an easily likeable female protagonist despite how much I wanted to shake her at times as she continued stubbornly with her hare-brained plan of revenge. The end is very much HEA [insert sighs of contentment here]
