SITR IS SO BEAUTIFUL ah it’s a cliché sweet friend-to-lovers romance w a lil age gap (7 yrs between actors who are in their 30s isn’t unhealthy though) but I just like it so much. it’s done so well I like the actors, the soundtrack, and the colour grading so much. I reiterate what I said abt it having the same feeling as a wong karwai film. his films are my go-to for when im in the mood for love, u kno? (pun intended). they’re these somewhat simple love stories told in such a beautiful way and don’t rely much on dialogue. that’s what rly strikes u about a wong karwai film, so much is said in just a glance or a fleeting touch.
in episode 4 when they’re talking on the phone and junhui is rolling around his bed GIGGLING and the contentment on their faces when they’re together. and him playing her music on his radio thingy as she drifted off when they talked on the phone that other time 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 sooo devastated

im not even done with ep 4 and there’s 12 more 80 minute eps hello?? im confused as to what’s gonna happen in allll that time.. hope it doesn’t get too dragged out and they don’t ruin it. netflix originals always drag shit out and this isn’t exactly an original but an exclusive but.. im still scared. I feel like they’ll introduce the usual setbacks u see in relationships and then work through those setbacks.. hope it doesn’t get too boring or monotonous. loving the sweet uncomplicated vibe they’ve had since they made up from the ‘fight’ don’t want that vibe to go away soon.
