what to do when u feel overwhelmed with school?

ashley's reading space | 14 comments im in my 3rd year of hs and already feeling super exhausted and drained :( theres not enough time in a day to both study and relax, and ive got too much work to do that even taking breaks make me feel super guilty and stressed out. i haven't been maximizing my grades yet and its only the start of the year. any advice?

nina the orca | 125 comments I felt the same way last year! Try doing extra work on weekends so you don’t have as much to do during the week

rae (jurdan's version) I'm in my second year of hs AND I'm taking a couple college classes and I literally feel the same way 😭 My advice would be to separate your work. Like make a list of what you need to work on for the day then separate it depending on how much you need to do. So lets say if you have 12 assignments then do 3 of them then take like a 30min break, do another 3 of them then take a break yk? and obviously you would have to split it depending on how much time you have to work on your hw.

also another piece of advice would be to add things you enjoy into doing hw. like maybe listening to music (the only reason I'm still sane rn tbh) or snacking or having a show playing in the background. it helps I promise

caleigh (busy) i’m in my second year of college + since i take online classes i find it really helpful to make a checklist of everything i have to do for the week then plan it out a bit! also like rae said, do something you love while doing assignments. i always have music playing, but you could turn on a show or listen to an audiobook or something so that you don’t feel overwhelmed. good luck!! <3
