Finished Lease on Love. It had me sobbing in the restaurant but I finished. Added it to Game of Life since it was the most filled in game.
Mod Note: Quick reminder that you have until the end of the day on Monday to post your individual challenge in the completion thread. We only have 5ish entries submitted so far, so you have a great chance of getting picked to choose a prompt for our 2024 list! Just wanted to make sure this message reaches as many Read-a-Thon participants as possible... carry on with your team challenge!
I finished Golden Girl and used it for the sports & leisure prompt, and Magic Binds which I used for the wedding/birth prompt, because it had both.
Finished Seven Kinds of People You Find in Bookshops and put it under Trivial Pursuit, a nonfiction book.
Finished Pageboy and used it for Entertainment and Arts under Trivial Pursuit. Sadly I'm at the end of my weekend where I'm at so I doubt that I will finish another book but will keep adding to pages and audio hours.
Next up is Hell Bent. Can’t wait to see what shenanigans Alex Stern gets into! It’s almost 500 pages so doubt I’ll finish this weekend but it’s fast paced so hopefully I’ll get lots of pages in
I finished The Direction of the Wind and added it under "set in India," but it can also go under other prompts if we need to move it.I'm still reading The Spiral Staircase and hope to finish it tomorrow. I'm going to start listening to Galahad at Blandings which has 224p. Not sure if I can finish (5:27), but a bit busy tomorrow.
Hi Team. I was travelling Thursday and Friday, but I still managed to get some reading done. I finished reading Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder and For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway
It's already Monday where I am and I wasn't able to finish my last book On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous. I breezed through Part 1 but it got less interesting for me in Part 2, so I slowed down.It was fun reading with you all.
I've finished The Spiral Staircase and put it for book that has a square, circle, cube or cross shape on the cover (light from candle). It was a fun week!
