Andrea, are you looking for all types of genres and all ages of reader? Because your header is very general, so that's what we assume. If you're looking for something more specific than that, it needs to be in your topic header.

3013: Erotic romance SciFi. It’s mainly ménage, and the first is fairly ott, but the world and characters are great.

Rick Riordan has a lot of connecting series as well, chronologically starting with The Lightning Thief.
Also, Sherrilyn Kenyon has some decently lengthed series that are also all connected to the same universe.
Same with John Flanagan.
You could also try The Bad Beginning if you haven't before, which is the first of a 13 book series.

If you want to get into super long series, def dive into DC and/or Marvel comics or long running manga like Case Closed and One Piece. There's no end in sight!
I second the Rick Riordanverse 😄 it's a middle grade and YA series about the children of Greek/Roman/Egyptian/Norse gods.
The Boy Detectives Club by Edogawa Rampo is a childrens mystery series, although I don't think most of them have been translated into English yet. But they're mystery classics so you may be interested.

Mitch Rapp focuses on a CIA agent who specializes against terrorist attacks. Long reads, but done very well in the thriller aspect.
Iron Druid Chronicles I haven't read this one yet, but it's an urban fantasy with plenty of books in the series.
Dear Dumb Diary is more middle-grade/YA but I found them to be very humorous, especially some of the hidden adult jokes spread around each book.
Cat In The Stacks is an ongoing series, if you like cozy murder mysteries with a librarian detective and his pet cat.
