Yes you are the queen of tag matching! 👑
One part of the tag matching that is very helpful, besides being a future use, is that it is earned on landing on it, even if it gets read in later month. You can land on last day of month and you still earn it.

In conjunction with this roll, I am using a tag-related benefit to move forward 1 space, taking me to space 59. I will note this on my Board.
I'm going to swap out my #50 What Is the What for State of Terror which is a bit longer because I just can't get into it. I will note it on my board.
I'm going to swap too. My roll landed me on the book that I have in hard cover sitting on my bedside table but I still have close to two weeks before I'm home. Will also mark on my board.

NOTICEIt has been a long, long week for me ladies, but our book sale was a huge success and I am back. I got very lackadaisy though and would appreciate it if everyone could please check their seat number on train and be sure I have you in the right spot. I did send Tom around to check ticket numbers, but now I hear that he and the cabana boys were enjoying schnibbles (what my father called a shot of liqueur) whenever they thought no one was looking - silly men, they will never believe that women have eyes in the back of their heads

You do show me as being on Loop 2 but my position is still listed as space 99 of Loop 1.. I am on space 5 of my 2nd Engineer board. Thanks!
@Joanne, congrats on the successful sale! Hope are able to take some time to rest and recover. I'm now on spot #11 instead of #1 on the Engineer board.
I also need approval on how I understand things)After my last roll, I went again to space #57 which I've already read. That meant that I needed to read the previous book - #56. So I understand that although I didn't technically land on #56, I am still eligible to get tag bonuses based on book #56. (And it would also apply to the book I can choose when I roll a 7?)

Yes you would earn the reward in both cases. If you used a swap, you wouldn’t get the reward in that case.
I am currently on space 27 on the Porter board

The numbers drawn will be between your current position and the end of the board you are on. To be used anytime." I finished my book at position #2 of my porter board and the review has been posted.

And we all know that what happened in Vegas, stays in Vegas! I know from my one and only trip there -- with the female contingent of my family to see Bette Midler's show at Caesar Palace -- so some years ago -- it is busy busy busy!
Hurray and with that I moved into the first class cafe. Who is in there with me? I can't wait to see the menu!
I told the Cafe Attendant and Bartender to switch up the menu for some west coast/Cali options, and no stinting on snacks and desserts!

Since I am currently on spot 1 of the Porter board, this will send me back to spot 97 on my previous board (clerk). When I was on the clerk board before, I used up both my swaps (in fact I used the last one the last time I was on spot 97). When I started the Porter board I got two new swaps for the new board. Now that I am sent back to the clerk board, can I use one of these swaps or do I have to wait until I am back on the Porter board?

Then, I need to figure out if I will create a new board for the rest of this year. If I do, I probably won't have that done until the weekend. We'll see.
I probably will, but don't expect to get far. I've only been aiming to read 1 book/month for each challenge. So, even with a new board, I'll likely only end up reading 3(ish) books on it. Maybe I'll get in one or two more, as I will be on holidays for all of December.

Anita - there was a small debate over this rule while you were out, so I want to clarify before I ask for either 2 or 3 dice for my next roll. 😀

Sue, these are the numbers and the rule: I am not sure what the debate was about, but you currently roll 1 die and this special gives you 2 (not 3) dice. Those on the 3 dice team can slap me silly if I am wrong.
b) If you land on a book that has the same tag as the monthly tag, you will get an extra move in conjunction with any future roll:
5-25 taggers - move forward 1 space
25-50 taggers - move forward 2 spaces
50-100 taggers move forward 5 spaces
More than 100 taggers - roll two dice
This award must be noted on your tracking thread at the time you land on the book that earns it. The book does not need to be completed/reviewed in the month with the tag . . .this bonus is triggered when you land on the book.

Hi Sue,The rule states:
If you land on a book that has the same tag as the monthly tag, you will get an extra move in conjunction with any future roll
So the two dice are EXTRA to be used in conjunction with your future roll (of 1 die).
So 3 dice.
