Jay had enjoyed summer break. The relaxation of the volunteering works, and the time he spent making new friends. The cool new breezes of the AC had made his efforts at the volunteering works to be of much use. He'd enjoyed his breaks in the shade, with cold water by his side. The friends were also a great help from talking and just enjoying himself.
As summer reared it's ugly end, Jay was starting to lose all hope of having a good, relaxing year. With Silas around, though, he knew it'd never work out. Silas was always there, trying to one up Jay, or try to beat him fair and square on literally anything. Jay gave a soft sigh, as he parked the car to the house garage.
With only 2 weeks left before school started, Jay hoped for a little peace and quiet, but with a family always out for extra activities, and with little time for peace and quiet, it was really hard to find space and time for it.

(( I love your character already !! ))
Jay headed into the house, locking his car. Jay wasn't surprised when he heard sounds. He expected sound. His mother was in the kitchen, prepping some sort of food. "Hey mom." Jay replied, as she smiled back, waving. "How's our son?" She asked, giving him a small hug, before going back to her food. "Doing good mom." He said, with a chuckle, as he heard his father come downstairs.
"Heya J. How are ya?" He asked, tapping Jay's shoulder. "I'm good, I'm good. Thanks for asking." Jay replied, with a smile. He enjoyed his parents. He really did, but sometimes they were just forceful to him, in terms of grades.

Jay finally managed to get his parents off his back, as he scurried to his room, gently closing the door, as he sighed softly. He loved his parents. Adored them. Glad they were his parents, and supported him. But the pressure was a lot for him...
As he was about to decompose into his thoughts, he heard a soft ring, as he followed the sound to his desk. His phone had lit up, with a message. Who's texting me now? He wondered, curiously. His eyes, drifted to the text, as he came towards his desk. A small smirk was pulled upon his lips, as he gave a satisfactory chuckle. A soft one, but a chuckle, nonetheless.
"Well, well, well..." He said, shaking his head, as he held his smile up high.
He decided, on instant, that he'd rather ignore the message, rather than give in to Silas little game.

He heard his phone ring again, as he got the phone off his desk, sitting onto his bed as he read the message. He couldn't help but chuckle. "So, we're playing this game...?" He replied, sarcastically, and decided to go into it.
I'll answer Silas, only because I know you have nothing better to do but text your enemies.
Am I the only one your texting?
Are you that lonely? :D
Oh? Plans. I'm highly unaware of any plans, besides you failing again this year. I wish you the best of luck.
He texted back. Jay wasn't sure how else to reply. He didn't want to fully encourage him, but the way he replied made it seem like he had. He sighed, rubbing his temples as he felt his cheeks form a smile again. Oie vay He thought, knowing he wouldn't get a relaxing year, and would have to fight for it.
Jay decided to leave his ringer on, but placed his phone aside. He wanted to text, but he was also tired. He decided a small nap wouldn't hurt. After all, he could always text Silas later.
(( So sorry, my brain just decided to go walking out D: ))

(( Same here, so I'll continue it tomorrow as well. ))

"Hmph..idiot..so tired...No! You can't slack off now! This is your chance to get a head! But sleeeep! Fine, 10 minutes and that'..."
Jay had already fallen asleep, by the time any other message came. He lay, in his bed, just asleep, with no motions or sounds. From a out of perspective view, he looked like he could be in a casket, or even at a graveyard. But from those perspectives of those that knew him, that was basically how he slept.

Jay headed to school, in his car, after finally convincing his parents to let him use it. Driving as fast as he could, while maintaining the speed limit, he knew he wasn't going to be late if he kept up the fast rate of driving.
Jay passed by Silas quickly, as he entered the school. The once happy school, would soon become his last memories before he left. At least until Silas came back. He hated to admit it, but school would not be fun without him. He chuckled, throwing his head back, slightly.
Jay gave a small chuckle, waving at Silas. "Heya man, how are you?" He asked, with a smirk. He figured a formal greeting would be the best way to start the school year, which was something he was against, but was forced to upon seeing Silas come towards him.
He chuckled, rubbing his head a little. "I'm glad your excited for school." He replied, with a yawn, as he mumbled some curses. It was just a general routine. It was early, and he preferred his mornings to be quieter, and not as loud as Silas.
"True, true. I have English, so that's lucky to me." He replied, with a soft chuckle.
"See ya later." He replied, waving bye to Jay, as he made his way through the hallways. He figured that he could come to class early, and have a quieter morning, and hoped that this year could be a relaxing year, with little-to-no competition.
((yes of course, apologies for the late response))
As the classwork started, so did the time. The quick ticking of the clock, and the quiet classroom environment seemed to make Jay much more relaxed. Compared to the morning with Silas, he felt a bit calmer, and slightly relaxed.
During the quietness, he was able to catch up on the smooth course of the class, hearing soft whispers, which were practically hums to his ears. You could choose to ignore it, or just go with the flow. As the class seemed to finish, as did their class requirements.
Moving towards the next classes, it was lunch time before Jay realized. Upon hearing the bell, the students seemed to head out towards the cafeteria. Jay, amongst the later crowd, was heading to the library, for some respectable study time.

(( I didn't realize I'd left you on read!! I apologize ))
While most everyone had study hall, Jay was the lucky one with his very own lunch time table. He had been assigned 1st lunch while most of his friends got stuck with 2nd lunch. Jay quickly slide into the lines, awaiting his food as he checked on his phone-
It wasn't rare of him to check his phone, but he was a rather studious kid who tended to be studying or just sleeping. It was a 50/50 for him, so it was a rare occasion to see him just scrolling through YouTube © and just listening to some random music as well.

Jay's phone buzzed swiftly, at his notifications as he replied quickly, before getting his lunch- a ham and cheese sandwich with chocolate milk and a side of vegetables.
He replied, wondering if he was nearby, as he found some utensils, before finding a table, preferably an empty one, as he sat down.
I'm here, just got my lunch. You?
