read this book maybe 10-11 years ago. It’s a YA novel with romance and like supernatural/fantasy.
I remember the plot starting with a teen girl getting a new car and she takes it out for a spin at the docks. She ends up getting into an accident and goes into a coma. Then she meets a guy in the coma, and he helps her come to terms with being in a coma. But she wakes up without him. The ending scene mentioned like a wind chime? or something moving-
I think it was a series too (of like 4 parts) and in the next books she meets him again and some other ppl who are not human

Is it possibly Ferryman? The details are a bit different because I think it was a train crash but it's a series that came out about 10 years ago and the love interest is not human.
