Gizem Hi all, there's something I don't understand in the book. At the end of the first game about the double consonants, Lucy asks Hugo why he helped her and gave her a hint. How did Hugo help Lucy by asking her about the driver's name? I couldn't understand the relevance. Any ideas?

thank you!!

Karen Ehrhard I don't believe Hugo helped Lucy by asking her if she remembered the driver's name, but he was learning about her character by asking. He knows what's important to Jack and was just testing, in a way, to see how she might do if that were the test. It didn't change anything by asking, but offers a glimpse into the values of Jack, Hugo and Lucy I think. If you care enough to treat those who help you well by asking and remembering their names, you might be a nice person.

Piper Rettig that seems like something he would do lol read this like back in september
