What is the BEST order to read TOG?

I just have no idea how to start this series lol

The chronological order, so you start with assassins blade and then continue to read the books in their right order
1. Assassins blade
2. Throne of glass
3. Crown of midnight
4. Heir of fire
5. Queen of shadows
6. Empire of storms (Tandem read)
7. Tower of dawn (tandem read)
8. Kingdom of ash

this is how i read it:

--throne of glass
--crown of midnight
--the assassin's blade
--heir of fire
--queen of shadows
--empire of storms
--tower of dawn
--kingdom of ash

empire of storms ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so it might be annoying for you to have to go through another book before you can read kingdom of ash. so you can read empire of storms and tower of dawn at the same time (tandem read) since they take place at the same time.

i didn't do this though. i'm currently reading tower of dawn after empire of storms and honestly, i feel like this is... better. i think that it would've made my reading experience of both books less exciting since you have to switch between books so much. a lot of people think it's better to tandem read though. it's your choice.
