Hannah | 3301 comments I know this book has been a bit polarising, but I am firmly in the love camp. Which surprises me as I was very sceptical before reading this, and nearly decided to pass on it. I liked that the characters were quite quirky, and not typically characters that I tend to read about, and I really liked the friendship that they shared, despite everything they had all gone through. I’m also not someone who plays videogames, so I was surprised to be drawn into that aspect as much as I was, though I felt this dragged a bit towards the end and took away a bit from the friendships and relationships I was more interested in.

Amy | 12932 comments I loved it too. I thought they did a very great job with the character formation of the complicated relationships between them. I really just loved it for that interaction. And for how much the video games were get another expression of who they were. And of the relationships.

NancyJ (nancyjjj) | 11084 comments Thanks for the review Hannah. I read the beginning last winter and I liked the characters, so I think I’ll be a fan. It’s high on my September list.

I hope you like it, Nancy. It took me a few chapters to get into it, but I was hooked after that.
