How do you decide what to read next? Every time I'm going book shopping I stack like 15 books and have an existential crisis and a financial one.

Ummm. So I do literally the same thing...
A lot times when I have to limit myself, I check for my favorite tropes, discounts, and if I'm in the mindset.
Like your not gonna buy Song Of Achilles if your in a really happy mood yk? You should save books like that for when you wanna cry.
Pfft. I saw a girl straight up spinning around in B&N because she couldn't choose and her friend was just staring at her like "wth"
I also let other people choose for me (mostly my fiance since he doesn't trust me to go alone in a bookstore, but always buys me 2 or 3 books)
Honestly, I get all of my books from the library, and then I'll go and buy the ones that I liked/want to have on my shelf. Saves money and also supports local libraries!
