J.B. Trepagnier (jbtrepagnier) | 85 comments This is a series that was rewritten and is supposed to be That Super Secret Spy School I'm Not Supposed to Know About. When I combined it with the old versions of the book, it flipped it back to the old series, which is Special Agent Mauve. Can this series be switched back to That Super Secret Spy School I'm Not Supposed to Know About, which is what is currently is on Amazon?

Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments Alright this is quite a lot. I separated the editions you combined because they're clearly not the same. You combined
Oops, I Did it Again which has 365 pages [Kindle] with Origins (Special Agent Mauve #1) 20 pages [Kindle] and Mission: Naughty Horace (Special Agent Mauve #2) 203 pages [Kindle]. We combine books that have the same content. Yes, even rewrites but with same content. Can you please explain how is this the same series? Maybe the numbering changed?

The correct procedure is to edit the name of the series, combine works rewritten that are the same content [20 pages can't be 365 pages.] Then set default editions if needed. Is book 2 of That Super Secret Spy School I'm Not Supposed to Know About the same as book 3 of Special Agent Mauve or is this book 1 or 2? The 20 pages book is actually 0.5, not considered a full book, as was noted in the omnibus edition.

Hi!
Origins and Naughty Horace were combined and rewritten into Oops, I did it again, which is why the page count is higher. It's the same plot, but those two books were combined and it was rewritten as a romance with several chapters added so that it went from a single POV to a multi POV. I was trying to avoid those books being out there and confused with Oops, I did it again since the blurb and series name are very, very similar

Tami (tamicarvallo) | 6987 comments Thanks for the clarification. I did well separating them then. They shouldn't be combined. You can add a note in the description if you wish stating the book is out of print. I also see the confusion might have occurred because the series was not correctly numbered before, Origin was supposed to be 0.5 as it is only 20 pages, and the others were supposed to be books 1 and 2 as they are both over 200 pages originally. As a general rule books of over 200 pages are considered full length novels, less than that is a novella or short story and are listed using decimals. I combined them and fixed the series accordingly.

For the second book In the Zone, you should set it as default edition following these instructions: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/... also this book was deleted by a bot. I restored it and merged the empty edition you created. Please don't create such empty duplicate books when your book has an ASIN number and was already added to the database. Just post here. We can help :)
