Capn | 3506 comments Any POW camp-related treasure?
Secret On Johnson's Island While looking for mussels on a sandbar off the shore of Johnson's Island, Avery Perkins finds a trunk that contains Civil War artifacts (2010)

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Capn - It isn't either of those. Secret On Johnson's Island sounds interesting, though. I might have to try it. I'm a sucker for anything mentioning Cedar Point, because I went there every summer as a kid, lol.
I'll try and see if I can take a look through the author list you linked, sometime today. I'll go from where you left off. Thank you for all the help you've been giving me.

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Rainbowheart - I don't think it's that one either. From what I can tell searching the reviews, etc., it doesn't seem to have any connection to Lake Erie. Someone also said it ends in a cliffhanger, but the book I read didn't - at the time I thought it was a stand-alone (although it could have been part of a series, and I just didn't realize it). That one definitely has the right feel though. It seems like a very similar type of book to the one I'm looking for.

Rainbowheart | 28629 comments Marsh Island is probably too short, 64 pages?

message 56: by Pony (new)

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Rainbowheart - Yeah, it was longer than that.

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Rainbowheart - No, nothing about that one seems familiar in the summary or preview or anything :\

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments I looked through the author list. I got up to Tricia Springstubb so far, and I didn't have any luck yet. I have to go eat dinner now, so I'm taking a break 🙃

Link to where I stopped: https://www.ohioana.org/authors/autho...

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Alright, I got through the rest of the list and unfortunately I didn't see my book connected to any of those authors. Thank you for the link, Capn.

Rainbowheart | 28629 comments Probably too old, The Magic Lake?

message 71: by Pony (new)

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments It's not that one either, but thank you for your continued help 😊

Rainbowheart | 28629 comments Also probably too old, The Road to Kip's Cove?

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Nope, it's not that one. But thanks for the bump, Rainbowheart 🙂

Pony Xaviors (ponyxaviors) | 388 comments Not those either, I'm afraid. I did have a lot of Hardy Boys books around when I was a kid, but I never actually got around to reading any of them, lol.
Thank you, Amber.
