i’m tired of taylor swift assuming things or saying stupid stuff in her songs. take her song “…ready for it?”, for example. let’s just say i was NOT, in fact, ready for it. also welcome to new york? the lyrics “welcome to new york, it’s been waiting for you” do not make any sense. how could a city be waiting for someone? and how rude of her to assume that everybody can afford a trip to new york. or in the song fifteen, when she says “when you’re fifteen and somebody tells you they love you, your gonna believe them”. this is utterly stupid. when i was fifteen, nobody told me they loved me, and if they did i wouldn’t have believed them!!! her songs are not relatable, and i don’t care about everybody who says they are. ALSO, don’t even get me started on her albums “folklore” and “evermore”… doesn’t she know that her albums and song titles should start with a CAPITAL LETTER?!?! taylor swift is stupid and is an awful role model for young women. my daughter will NOT be listening to taylor swift.
