Fight for control between two rivals

Would love to read a novel about two rivals fighting for control of something. Prefer something small like a business, not like a kingdom. Could also be a cop trying to bring down a clever criminal, but if its that, no serial killers, please! Only white collar crime. Not into blood.

So also not interested in war stories, and please, no enemies to lovers, PLEASE!

Just a story about two smart men and/or women (I hate it when one side is so dumb you can't believe there's even a fight) using their wits to outsmart the other side, and leaves you wondering who will win in the end.
