All I can find in the Plus catalogue for Sri lanka is a 6 minute short story...I'll grab it if there's nothing else, but I have no money to spend on books right now (seriously... I have less than £5 to my name!)

I'm currently on one that would work for most of these, but it's audio only. The conversion tells me it would be 635 pages, but with NBRC usually relegating audio-only to 100 pages, I don't know if I can use it for such?There was also a hunting scene which mentioned hounds (heraldic beast), but I'd have a very difficult time this far past it trying to figure out a quote or even which chapter it was!
Also works for poisoning and title.
There is a lot of waffle about family trees and lineages, but again, audio only means there isn't an actual one.
I'll finish within the next couple of hours.
I'd be happy for yoyr book to cover all the stuff. 😊

by the way.A fiction book by Dan Jones Mel. Not bad, but I prefer his non-fiction. His characters were a little meh. given a bit more experience, he could become a pretty good HF writer though, I think.
At least he's got the historical accuracy thing going for him 😆

Oh no! Have you read the Beartown books? I personally think those are his best work, though I've not read everything yet.

I understand that the world's an ugly place, everyone is nasty, a lecher, a paedophile, an abuser, a rapist, a killer, etc, but FB uses a cudgel now on all pages and hits you on the head with it in case you didn't get it on all previous ones.
In Ove & Brit-Marie he was more subtle about these issues, as far as I remember (need to reread them).
Yes, he does tend to go quite dark. It's an interesting combination with the whimsey he also displays...If the new one is worse than beartown, I'll be sure to be in the right mood before I pick that one up!
I've just grabbed a book from the Plus catalogue that has several family trees inside (amazon look inside came through for once!), I'll get that one done tomorrow!
Oh thank you. I was really upset with looking through my history non-fic books and not finding a single family tree! What letdowns they are! 😅
