@Sophie,
I think Joe would probably enjoy it too. Maybe a bit later, though from what you say, he is much tougher at 7 than I am at almost 50. π€
I'm really sorry it has not been translated into Hungarian, as I thought Domi may like it as well.

Taking a break from yet more paint slinging (finally doing the living room now. Final stretch!) because I'm aching in places I didn't know existed π
just finished the book with trees and rocks!
Do we trust my spinning luck? for context: when asking for World Wheel spins I was delivered Egypt & Russia, both on the harder end of the range...

not too heinous! I thought about spinning World Villain, but was worried we'd end up with an easy country that no one was reading for as I assume we are all excitedly hunting down hard locales! (incidentally, Luxembourg! WOW that was tricky. The interesting local-authors were all poetry or short stories that didn't hit 100 pages.)
Alicanto

Indeed. I have upcoming DR Congo, Uganda, Monaco and Holy See. π€
And I just realised that I could use some Hungarian classics for Slovakia and Romania settings (because of history & stuff) or authors born there for later.

I could cover page count, animal with wings and treasure in text if someone can take Historical Fiction where my Queens' Play is currently languishing. I'm keeping it for TT, so haven't started yet.
nice :)
I've born-in-Egypt (World Wheel), Congo-Brazzaville, Luxembourg, Croatia, Albania for my first lot, with some medium ones in the Tower planning tower too :)
Good gang of readers: Danielle's holding off on the newest Nalini Singh for Fiji purposes, bless her, and others have volunteered for Monaco, Laos, Bulgaria and such. love an engaged team!

lets do the switch! I'm not at my leisure to choose what I fancy, so can peruse with a view to Historical Fiction :)

Also, easy countries not a huge problem, as I can cover most if needed π
I may not be playing, but I have made myself a copy of the SS and intend to go through a few that are on my TBR for those in solidarity, time permitting π

I'm planning on finishing the BOM (Eygpt book) this evening, probably, but happy to be bumped :)

Incidentally, The Mountains Sing - recommend? I think I have it in the depths of my kindle - should I push it up?

Sure!! I won't be starting it for a while.

It's mostly about the writing in this one. Not much there in the way of story, and the characters were a bit samey.

Thank you Sammy!
Feels overoptimistic to describe London as a cold climate! Is the closest my current 2 reads would get to working.
