But since when were the Falkland Islands part of Argentina? 😕

That would cause the Falklander I'm friends with to throw the book. She's v clear about their alleigences lie.
Will look through my reads to come up with a plan...

Since Scotland is in England? 🤭

My daughter got given a booklet on different countries in Europe when she was at school, which proudly proclaimed the capital of the Netherlands was The Hague. So, so very wrong! But when I tried to point this out to the teacher, she basically called me an idiot that didn't know anything. 🙄
Then again, this was the same school that had a little diorama in reception with a card by it that said "An artefact is an art object", and completely freaked out at us for interfering with their teaching when my son piped up in class that "actually no, Pluto was no longer classed as a planet and hadn't been for years" - information he had gathered himself being doing this unthinkable thing called reading.
Needless to say, I don't consider it the best school ever.
Oh, and my son's year 3 teacher told me my son was stupid because he said his favourite colour was cyan, a shade of blue, and everyone knows it's actually a shade of red...
These are the people teaching our children...

Ooof that's some interesting choices by the teachers.
