Unfortunately it does make it trickier to justify the expense if it's "just for me"...
500 to 650
MC gets lost
Shoe(s) on cover
Book has been translated into or was written in German
Author initials in IRRWURZ

Are we sure

Beginning of next week the March UNO cards will be released as well.

Yeah that's not something that I've come across much.
Maybe we need to teach them and the monsters to map read.

😂
How would we feel about someone whose ship was lost at sea (and then having to find their way to where they were going) for being lost?
Too stretchy? If ok, Words of Radiance will cover that task too 😁

1. 100-175
2. features a theatre or Opera performance
3. Word SALT in the text
4. features ghosts
5. mask on cover or features a character wearing a mask

The Nucleus of the Swarm
1 350 to 450
2 9 in page number
3 MC has a pet
4 "shrimp" or “prawn" in text
5 Series or title starts with K

Nope, that's not a frequent tag. Anna Karenina is one of the books that springs to mind and I'm not up for a reread!
is my next one to cover the wombat title

My next read is for my maze, because I've been on the current one an embarrassingly long time! 😆

I'm (FINALLY!!!!) listening to Rivers of London and (mostly) loving it.
I told Sophie that for some reason as soon as Nightingale stepped onto the scene I picture him as David Bowie and it's indelible from my mind. ;)
Plus, is it me or the welcome echoes of Terry Pratchett (you know, the Bow Street Runners and other stuff, and the irony... definitely the irony, though not the same, of course!) are truly around?
(I just wish Peter Grant wasn't tripping himself up all the time some action is required. Somehow I see why he was originally headed for the Paperwork Pushing Unit. I don't wish for superman, just getting things done right occasionally even if he's just a wizard in training.)

I'm actually planning to buy the next one on kindle, to test how it's working that way, plus the price os teally low. But not today in solidarity with the don't buy stuff day across the pond (I'm following Stephen King on Bluesky and that's how I learned about it.

1 200-299
2 Story features sisters
3 Witch character in the story
4 mirror/reflective surface on the cover
5 A character uses an alias

We ok with the water in this being a reflective surface?

Currently reflecting light, but water in general is pretty famously reflective...

3 Character likes order
4 Author initials found in REALITY
5 APOCALYPSE in text

It also has apocalypse, but not in the story... It's in one of the "Praise for TJ Klune" bits at the start of the book.
I'm guessing that's a no-go, as not part of the story.
I finally finished Under Heaven, and thus The Cunning Man.
In the flush of excitement I did a silly thing, and respun....
On the plus side: it's new.
On the down side....
Yateveo

Not sure that it's husband's thing or I'd drag him that day for a birthday trip."
Mark Hamill loved it, Sophie. Just saw his post on Bluesky about it. ;)
