I have failed epically on the reading front this past week (150 pages of graphic novel, other than that, nada!).

I managed to finish a shorter book just before Xmas (that fits exactly nowhere, lol) and made a little progress with MPG War & the 651+ but at a very leisurely pace.

We'll be travelling to Prague tomorrow by train and I'm hoping to make some progress on the 6.5-hour journey. :)

Having a debate with myself - I'm 16 books short of my reading goal this year. If I add the picture books I've read the kids I can easily meet it, but feels a bit like cheating!

I'll be switching the skull book around - I've stalled on Company of Liars, but have one that I'll finish later that works.

Yeah, I'm really going to need to rein it in this year! Especially when it comes to team challenges that don't play nicely together (book cap "longest books win" vs "read as many shorties as poss" for TW), for the sake of what little is left of my sanity!

I've already dropped a few individual challenges to try and get my updating after each book down to under half an hour (last Easter with the HOB easter egg hunt and water balloon wars - lots of bonus points for cross-posting to other challenges - it took me around 90 minutes for each book!).

I really enjoyed The Unbearable Lightness of Being, which is set in Prague.

Also The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, which is mostly set in Ny, but has some Prague in there too.

Both 4 star reads for me.

I was trying to think of any, and did a quick search to jog memory, and would add Daughter of Smoke & Bone, which has a good flavour of it before it goes bonkers portal fantasy fun.

Apparently A Perfect Spy is (partially) Prague set and good spy fodder
