But I'm planning on re-reading All Systems Red after, and Murderbot definitely has a devious streak 😁

Definitely! 🥰
My sheperdess book also covers trickery (she uses "tricks" to win an auction, also tricks have to be used to deal with the sheep and cows).
But I remove my book from the 500 slot and use it for Yeti tasks instead.

Naturally I went for chocolate."
Naturally.
Eni and I were looking at Amsterdam maps yesterday, trying to decide where to park and which card to get - I wanted to do the Hop on Hop off circuit, she wanted the I am amsterdam card, and saw at one of the corners a building called Tony's Chocolonely Super Store. So of course I won't going to pass the opportunity to spend 6 euros (actually 18) and waaaaay too much time customizing my very own chocolate bar.
LOL

👍

Eni and I were..."
Tony's is my son's favourite chocolate! (he adores the salted caramel) I got him a tony's advent calendar from Schiphol when we were passing through last November.
Must check that place out next time I manage to go over there!

LOL."
Sounds great. At the end of October, we are going to travel to Madrid and spend a week there. As my son is train-mad, we will be travelling to some other cities on RENFE, probably Seville and Cordoba.
He also loves chocolate, so I have to make some research into chocolate places. 😂

What I'm hearing is "up your chocolate budget and reserve baggage space, you're going to need it"

Your hearing is impeccable! 😁

Spanish chocolate isn't as good as the Dutch one though. If you like honey and nuts, make sure you taste their Turrón. Nothing beats Spanish Turrón. They range between soft and hard, from almonds to pine nuts, and every single one is perfection.

My favourite chocolate brand is actually Côte d'Or. On my last trip to Bruges I got A LOT OF THEM!!!!!!
And better yet, I ate them all, because it was "too rich" for some taste buds *giggles*

Nothing like a book-related getaway, lol.

Awww! 😍

Thank you, Sonia, I will.

And you also need to go to the tapas market!!!

That he is!!!

Yummy! 🥰

That he is. Nobody does tapas as good. They even have mini paella dishes.
They also had cherries at 40 euros the kilo, which I ignored, because sure, we were in the middle of the winter... but fruit shouldn't be that expensive. It's Fruit, not the Queen's Crown.

I will make a note of this. I read an Austen biography by this author and really liked it.

And I have a re-read to do for another challenge, with a page count of 602! I'll not read that one for a few days yet, so will keep my eyes peeled for another 500 page monster, lol.

ETA: Can't remember clearly, but I think it might also have a surprise-y kind of ending...

Recently I read an Agatha Christie bio by Lucy Worsley. It was very good.

She was an excellent guest on the You're Dead To Me podcast about Agatha Christie.

Oh, will check that one out, Sophie. :)
It's one of my favourite podcasts. The host has a comedian and a historian on every episode to discuss a particular topic (but no Tudors or world wars) so have listened to things like the history of timekeeping and lots of interesting non-royal people.

with shorter page count requirements, but with everything else unforgiving about them. 😅

Ah yes, that was the one. I remembered a recent biography but spaced on what it was, lol.

Welp... at least the page count is lower... lol!

I take it the new monsters will need to be added to the SS somehow in order to auto-fill the tasks?

The Rephaim (The Bone Season) - Very Hard
350-400
MC is unusually strong
"veil" in text
Title starts with PH (can ignore article)
Book currently on the list: https://www.goodreads.com/genres/most... (series substitutions ok)
I feel like this might be a lot of individual books. The list doesn't look too bad to me and might be able to get veil in it or the page length

also, I managed to move monsters to the SS successfully. Woo!

Sorry Lexi, but I couldn't resist the quote. Frustratingly awesome wheels. ♡

I think both?
I'm other news: finished my 800pager, which was popcorn. Though I didn't enjoy that all the baddies were also depicted as being sexually voracious and depraved with it...

I think we have a monster from each wheel for now.
