So you'd like another Vegi-Might Monster? 🤭
Oh! I just found a mannequin at the end of my book, just finished it. Like buses, eh?
I'm on my phone though, so will respin (unless Domi gets there first!) tomorrow

Domi won't finish until this evening or it may be tomorrow morning only as there has been some reshuffling in our w/e programme.
I also realised that his purple book will work for teacher MC as well.

I don't know if can be considered "central to plot", but it most certainly is an important part of the book as a whole.
Would that be good enough for the Bamboo Tree or am I stretching it (again)? :)
(I am reading it anyway b/c of the green cover.)
Mel, that works for me!
Spun a Dr Who:
The Thames Ice Snake
1 100 to 175
2 Set in London or one of its sister cities (http://en.sistercity.info/sister-citi...)
3 Author initials (all) in THAMES
4 Antagonist not who it first appears (your interpretation)
5 Water on the cover

Sophie, if you are OK with it too, I can put my cocktail book for that spot. Think I'll finish by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.

Hungry Grass
1. 100 to 175
2. MC mentions being hungry or finding food is important to the plot
3. Title starts with letter in GRASS
4. Someone finds a corpse
5. Tagged Fae (at least 10 times)

Chervona Ruta
1. 350 to 450
2. Author initials in FERN FLOWER
3. Night scene on cover
4. MPG Magic
5. MC choice has unintended consequences

I'm planning to find a novella to finish of my UNO reading, so I can almost certainly cover one of the short page count slots.

"To mark the anniversary of this musical masterpiece, we are celebrating with a special one-off radio programme – Genius of Joy: The Story of Beethoven’s Ninth, on Monday 6 May 2024 at 7pm."

RA will "narrate" :))
Was chatting to work friend about RA (via the very silly fun TV show he's just done Red Eye). she was waxing lyrical so I had to be stern and tell her hands off! Happily for everyone she deems his sexuality to be too big of a hurdle for her to lay claim :D and we obvs then went on to drool over memories of him in North and South and of course in leather in Robin Hood...
Must pick up Geneva and listen to that soon!

And here I was thinking it was to book a meet Sonia trip...
*sad face*
Yeah, Yeah, I know.. he has a sexy voice...

That too! In fact, I do believe we'd made plans for a Team Lust book cruise if one of us won, if I recall correctly. 😁
Are you allowing additions to team Lust to tag along, if they promise to contribute to the same if they were to win.

One more tagger-alonger, please. Buying a lottery ticket today. ;)

OBVIOUSLY! ALL THE LUXURY GO(O)Ds will be there, methinks. 🤭
But I am very happy about being in the Tree District, despite not being a Lumberjane! 🥰

I added Sophie's short book to Thames Ice Snake (as I was snooping around UNO threads, I know she finished, just too busy with Districting) and moved Sonia's shortie to Hungry Grass. That means that Ice Snake is finished.
Spun a Literary Monster
The Yellow King (True Detective)
1. 200 to 299
2. Yellow cover
3. tree on cover
4. MPG mystery
5. contains a complicated work relationship (your interpretation)

Brilliant Idea. Love it. 🥰

I'd open up sponsor gifts to all districts, but I'd actually like to have time to read occasionally, and keeping track of who has used what for potentially many people... Nope! lol.

That's what I was hoping for. 😉😊

Absolutely understandable. But please don't pretend that this isn't a dirty tactic to prevent other teams from reading by making them gawk at your pics instead, LOL.

When we were discussing teams I was "nah, not bothered, randomise me" Then Karen did the images and there was squealing and demanding of sheeps!

Best part about that was the 50% staff discount on days we weren't working. Happy hour was exceedingly happy 😆"
