There are other members on the team. Our word is Fabulous this week, so, after seeing so many Us claimed, I'll probably should focus on the As and Ls anyway. LOL.

Thank you.
not Mel..... do you really want to risk me? - no!
Sonia, if you're about still - go for it :)
otherwise I'll wait an hour and then spin for us - which should motivate someone to rescue us from that nightmare!

500 to 650
Read a book set in Australia
Read a book with a surprise twist (your interpretation)
Read a book with a carnivore on the cover (make sure it's not an omnivore!)
Read a book with author initials found in VEGEMITE.

Because Travis interview was pretty much a being deported conclusion and then one of the ranch hands managed to change the officials' minds.
Also, my current reading is by Taylor Rylan, so, I can also knock out the VEGEMITE option.
And I feel a bit like Sammy planning all the tasks... somebody stop me!!!!

Parallelly, I will finally tackle Lisbon: War in the Shadows of the City of Light, 1939-45 and afterwards Norse Mythology for the MPG Mythology task, unless someone beats me to that task -- feel free! :) Otherwise, I will get there eventually.

*giggles*
plus it's #2 in the series, the first one has a wolf on the cover but it's on the 400 pages range.
LOL

oooohhhhh dragons....
Sylar is gone. Instead Kilgrave has come to call.

That's fine, I guess.
I strongly do NOT recommend Iron Flame for anyone hoping for anything other than ridiculous angst (friendship and relationship), ridiculous pining and kissing and ridiculous (postponed) sex scenes....
ETA: forgot, you also need to be braced for even more super specialness from the heroine.
The best dragon has vanished from the book so far too...

which of us is finally going to find a Steampunk they want to read?!
I feel like people aren't writing steampunk anymore...
I feel like people aren't writing steampunk anymore...

It is clearly not for me, so I am glad for the confirmation. :)
Sorry it gives you such trouble, Cat.

I could grab The Subtle Knife. It has been on my physical bookshelf for a loooong time. (I just keep forgetting what exactly happened in Book 1...)
But will only do so after I tackled Lisbon, Norse Mythology and King Hereafter.
If you don't mind waiting for it...

You can't say things like devoid of smut without half a dozen of trigger warnings... it's just not right.
There's no rush on the steampunk!
and IIRC, The Subtle Knife starts off with Will, not Lyra, so we catch up with events from Northern Lights in-book.

I was planning to have a search for steampunk because I've enjoyed the bits I've read in the past but my brain is trying to process too many things.
Bleurgh on Iron Flame - I had thought about reading it because the world has some interesting bits, but not sure I can deal with YA/MA angst and ridiculousness.
ETA I say this having read bits of S J Maas, the first iron flame and recent From Blood and Ash, all of which have a lot of people giving them rave reviews.

Oh, good to know! :)

I have a few to choose from, Expedition to the Mountains of the Moon being a very strong contender. That series is just glorious, so I have no idea why the heck I wait so long between books!
I've put something in for steampunk, which means we have 5 tasks unclaimed!

Are we OK with it?
I slot the book for the task, but if you say no, I'll just delete it afterwards.
Monster 101 is on the new page!
was better than anticipated.

I'm also reading The Windsor Knot, which features the late queen as she solves a murder. The book is set in 2016, but it is mentioned in the book that she's been solving crimes throughout her reign. Too stretchy, or can we count her?

The MC on the cover also has 11 siblings, so, I also have #4
