You know, I was never that impressed with Liam Hemsworth at all (I mean, let's face it, with a brother like Chris, you're not gonna do well in comparison!), but that last picture..? I'm thinking he should keep the face fuzz!

Or maybe because in that last picture we can see the clear resemblance with Chris :o)

But I agree with the face fuzz. I think he had some in the swimming in the artic episode from national geographic, and I quite liked it.

I say I think, because a half naked Chris bathing in a ice bath is somehow distracting.

See, that's Liam's problem in a nutshell... He spends far too much time in close proximity to his brother. He needs to go find some less blindingly gorgeous people to go hang out with 😆

message 961: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8375 comments Sounds definitely geographically-challenged to me. 🤭

message 962: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Is someone reading a mountain on cover?

More important, can you see the mountains far far away in the image, behind the title?

message 963: by Cat (new)

Cat (cat_uk) | 10123 comments Mod
that's all your's Son!

Once I adjusted attention, I see mountains in the word mountain, yep! :)

message 964: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8375 comments I had to look for them hard, but they are actually there, if you concentrate. 🤭

message 965: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Yeah, I know... the hottie is a big of a distraction. Darn KM and her love for abs. Not that I will complain. I can't do that.

Cool. I was in the mood for a throuple book. I'll start that one after work. I need to submit my test scripts today for approval, and am a little behind schedule. And I have a meeting to define the test definition of done today with the client. Which I am a bit nervous about.

message 966: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments Mountains? No idea. next you're gonna tell me there's grass in the picture too.

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments Sonia wrote: "And also a lake :P"

Now you're just making stuff up. I see none of those things...

Though a case could be made for mountains. Hills and valleys certainly, in perfect washboard formation.

We can always count on you to brighten my day.

And after the meetings I already had today, I needed it.

Now onto detailing test specifications for the *ahem* 200 tests I identified.

Mountains, hills, valleys, abs... all there all happy to be looked at.

Mel - the letters ING are clearly in the title so that's all good.

I promise I am reading, it's just all very slow at the moment. Should have 1 or 2 things finished that will clear a monster by the end of the weekend.

Cat (cat_uk) | 10123 comments Mod
I'm reading, but mostly Miles Vorkosigan, which don't fit the tasks :(
but I can't seem to put Miles down!

message 978: by Melindam (new)

Melindam | 8375 comments Don't worry Sophie!
Cat, happy that you enjoy them so much. :)

BTW, I am really happy with our current BOM. I will probably not give it 5 stars, but it's definitely a strong 4. :)

message 979: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments I'm reading plenty, just seems to be mostly books that don't work 😆

After this month is over I may have a touch more flexibility. Still trying to get through audible+ books before they disappear!

message 980: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Finished the mountains and valleys book. Is it hot in here or what?

And how am I supposed to get my head back to work and the awful deadline now?

message 981: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments Perhaps meditation could work?

Find a nice hill (or valley) and sit in mindful contemplation of your surroundings for a while?

People keep telling me meditation sharpens the mind, so worth a shot? 😆

message 982: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Yeah yeah. I've been reading about the mountains and valleys instead of working, so, that idea went out the window.

I'll find a way to focus.

message 983: by Sophie, The other one (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 5692 comments Mod
It's nearly the end of Friday, so not too much longer to try to focus for. Just keep doing something for a little longer.

message 984: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments I actually need to send it today, so. I will need the time needed to complete it. LOL

It's not has hard as it seems... but I'm not sure I'm going to pick it up till 6.

message 985: by Sophie, The other one (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 5692 comments Mod
Bleurgh, that's not what work on a Friday should be like.

message 986: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments No. But I was the one that decided that procrastinate on a friday was a good thing. So yeah.

message 987: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments That's not what work on any day should be like.

You need work minions! Then you can procrastinate delegate all that and go back to scenery contemplation instead. Your mind is far too valuable thing to waste on deadlines and such 😁

message 988: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Ahahahahahah

Oh no. I don't want work minions. Then I would have to tell the minions what to do, and how to do it... and peopling... I mean minioning, and that is just wrong.

Of course, I'm still on goodreads and not looking at spreadsheets.

LOL.

message 989: by Sammy (new)

Sammy (sammystarbuck) | 13022 comments Pfffttt... Any minion worth the name should be able to anticipate your needs and get it done without you having to ask for it!

message 990: by Sophie, The other one (new)

Sophie (drsophie) | 5692 comments Mod
You could be looking at GR spreadsheets as an interim step.

here's a question.....
I'm now reading Memory, in which Miles is recovered from death (he was fully dead, had to have new heart and lungs and such grown whilst his body & brain were in cyro)
Count as "undead" even though he's in no way a zombie???
