I've been wanting to read

🥰
Zombie book is finally done. Not too heavy on the horror so it was ok.
The One-Armed Man (The Fugitive)
1 350 to 450
2 Contains a chase scene
3 Black and white on cover
4 MPG Suspense or Thriller
5 At least one arm on cover

I read it once a long time ago, so I am not sure about any chasing scene... although if ball chasing counts, it could work ;)

Would we be able to get away with them chasing a football being a chase scene? 😂 I think we should!
Finished another
New monster
The Devourers (Indra Das)
1 175-225
2 Tagged "south-asian" (5 or more times)
3 "cannibal" or "cannibalism" in text
4 Tagged "Trans" or "Transgender" (5 or more times)
5 Author Initials (all) in KOLKATA

1. 500 to 650
2. MC is a mother
3. TEARS in title
4. Set in Mexico or the Southwestern United States
5. Blue text on cover

And unless someone else covets it, I can take MC is a mother as well.
I moved my suspense into the long page count space, but it can go back if someone else (Sammy?) has a long one too
Also stuck one of my other current books into the blue text on cover space, though it's likely to be Thursday before I finish it (it's slow reading and I'm out tonight)

All growed up indeed. And it's hard to tell who is more freaked out about that... him or me, lol.
It's compounded by the fact that I've been teaching him to cook recently. He said "At this rate I'll actually become a fully functioning human being one of these days". Then proceeded to dump all of his grubby clothes by my feet for me to wash. 😂
One battle at a time...

One battle at a time..."
oh dear, so I shouldn't lose hope just b/c my almost-10-year-old has to be read the riot act for every single and -of course- impossibly difficult chore like "put away your toys" or (heaven fobid) "clean your teeth". 😂

He went through a phase where he hated to have a bath or shower. I swear the neighbours thought we were murdering him judging by the shouting and screaming. Now he showers twice a day and hates being grubby 😂

@Cat - some time (not super urgent) could you link the Dr Who wheel to the beginning of our thread? Please and thank you. 🥰

1. 500 to 650
2. "Satellite" in text
3. Purple and pink on cover
4. 5 in page count
5. Book has an editor credited on GRs

I'd say yes.

Cat, let's see who finishes their book first. :)
I will put my book in the notes slot only for the time being. I will need at least 3-4 days to get to it.
I finished my suspense, and figured I'd leave where it was as that's a monster done.
New spin
Professor Moriarty (Sherlock Holmes)
1 350 to 450
2 MC is very smart
3 Set in the 1800s
4 Street on cover
5 2 in page count

"Set in Mexico or the Southwestern United States"
I could move Emerald Blaze to "extinct animal mentioned in text".
I just came across "pterodactyl". :)

(Actually the book I just started also is set there, but it has a lot of other places listed, so won't know until I finish it whether it's 50% or not)
So I just finished one set in Sedona Arizona, which I'd put for author initials. Could switch that about?
Finished off La llorona.
Got
Fur-bearing Trout
1 100 to 175
2 Setting is somewhere cold (your interpretation)
3 white cover (>50%)
4 Someone writes a letter/email
5 Author name starts with letter in TROUT

sadly I don't see any pink or purple, but does the row of houses count for evidence of the snow-covered street?
otherwise, one of the author's is U, for initial in TROUT (plus cold setting). but I'd prefer street so we can dispose of that monster when I finish it this evening :D
Yes for street.
I've got an ice hockey book so that will cover cold. Xavier Neal on KU is a useful author for spell outs

I see some of the letters in the title as pink ? so that'd be a thumbs u from me!
