Can Queen Elizabeth II be considered as a kind of last representative of the generation of "traditional rulers" or something of that sort?
As in Smaug task - "book is about the last of something"
For the last of something - I have just finished Starter Villian. I'd say Charlie is the last of his mother's family or that Dobrev is the last supervillian.
Also parts of it take place by lake Como (or Garda - my memory is terrible) so could also cover that task.

actually, change of reading plans. I was reading a horror to finish SRC, but it was sloooooooow going. so I've switched to Ring Shout, which covers the novella and afrofuturism tag tasks.
Clark was born in US, so don't think counts as African diaspora though?

It sure as hell distracted me. Even made me think longingly of maths. Never thought I'd see the day. 😅

How do you find the book, Sammy? And the narrator?

A lot of the content is already in the dvd extras, but I'm geek enough not to care, lol.

Most of it definitely is!

I thought the narrator was fantastic and with you on the don't-mind-the-repetition stuff. 🥰

Bad timing! We were all too efficient with it.

Update:
Just checked Country's sheet, so I have my answer. :)
Which means I am grabbing it to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. ;)

what was the word count? I cannot find it on arbookfind uk/us and your spreadsheet doesn't say either. :(
Thanks.

My issue was 128 pages, I believe, with only about half a dozen illustrations. I know there are longer page versions with a load more illustrations which were released later, I think.

Honestly, my least favourite was A Tale of Two cities, and I still gave that 3 (and a half) stars. And I was probably not in the right mood for it at the time, so rating may yet change 😁
