(it also has more than one author should that come up on the just for fun wheel again! lol)

Could "harking" instead of "hark" in text be accepted?
I have this nice little sentence: ... the dog itself was harking back"
I found an actual hark and stuck it in - hadn't seen your message, sorry Mel.

For Frankenstein, I claimed task 2 as another book I have started for Wheel, will work for it.

I'm reading it to fill a task on SRC. You'll be done with Coraline before I'm done with Tuesday, so do boot me out!

I have claimed Author initials in WHALE.
Can Dublin be considered as "coastal setting"?
uhhhhh.... some of the outlying suburbs are coastal, but the main city not so much, so I guess my answer is "it depends" ?

Yeah, will see. I have not started the book yet, so I don't know which part(s) of Dublin are mentioned.

Jackalopes

Changed my mind about 4 times on which list book I was going to re-read, but have settled on Solaris 😁

Here is Spin 1:
LAMIA
200 to 299
night sky on cover
someone is kidnapped

child (under age 18) is an important part of the plot

WHITE WALKER
250-300
Tagged "undead" (5 or more times)
Author first and last name start with same letter
MC visits a place with ice
"obsidian" in text

And I decided to go on rereading the Wheel of Time series and they can fit lots of stuff.
After From Lukov with Love, I need a palate cleanser. That book really drove me up the wall.
Also, I removed my book from authors initials in WHALE, if you happen to have sth that fits.

But there is something very satisfying about your current book being perfect for a task without having to go hunting, lol.
We've disposed of a LOT of monsters already - 40 completed in a couple of months!
As far as fitting new tasks - My next after I finish Last First Snow will probably by Whisper Network, for the W title and the marimba in text!

True. 🤭

I can still cover "child (under age 18) is an important part of the plot", but will only finish a book for it next week, so once again, go for it, if you have anything that may work. :)

Got nothing for kidnap yet, but maybe my next book?

BTW, it is set in Vienna, in case you need one for wheels. 😉

I've got one that covers page count and WHALE author.
How do we feel about putting helicopter into service as bird again?
ETA: and it turns out there is a person known as Ghost in the book..... we good with using a living person with that nickname for that task?
sadly not coastal setting though

I'm (obviously) happy with the helicopter thing. And I like the stretchiness of using Ghost. as the task doesn't say 'A ghost', just 'ghost', it totally works, I'd say.
