Well I read Tiamat's Wrath recently, so I am fine with that choice.Maybe we can convince Donna to give us extra points if we figure out her logic. Hmmm...

Tiamat is a giant serpentine creature that is light blue with purple scales. The scales are serrated and knife-like. They can cut deep gashes into the skin of other Titans. Her skull is draconic with yellow eyes and four barrels extending from it. Near her head are also two wing-like fins. She can use her jaws and tail as dangerous weapons in combat. Her serpentine body can strangle her opponents like constrictor snakes. Her roars sound more like "xhhhhsssss" but it is her toxic vapor that other Titans need to be wary of. She can spew it from her mouth and blind them momentarily. She is very territorial but recognizes when the odds are against her. She can survive on both land and in water, manipulating the water to drag her foes to her. Although able to survive on land, it is a severe disadvantage to her.
When King Ghidorah calls all the Titans, Tiamat broke free and began to hunt. She did not arrive in time for the battle or to see Godzilla become the new alpha. Tiamat tried to ambush Godzilla after his battle with Ghidorah by sucking him into a whirlpool. Outmatched, Tiamat tried to blind Godzilla and drag him into the water, slicing him with her scales. Godzilla was able to overpower her. Frightened, she submitted to save herself from being killed. She retreated back into the ocean.
This Titan is tricky. To catch her you will need to get prepared. You will need goggles, tranquilizers, and a cage.
Goggles Read a chain of 3 books with all the letters of GOGGLES (there must be 3 Gs) in the title/subtitle.

Ohhhh, the buddy read thing could be fun (and likely short considering the speed some of us read at 😂).The most awkward thing I find right now is marrying the fact that longer books are better for the monster hunt challenges and turf wants shorter ones ideally. ARGH! lol.

King Ghidhorah was an evil alien dragon that invaded Earth in the ancient past. He clashed with Godzilla and Mothra, who succeeded in sealing him underneath the Antarctic ice. In 2019, eco-terrorist Alan Jonah and Monarch defector, Dr Emma Russell released Ghidorah from his frozen tomb. Godzilla & Mothra joined forces again for a final confrontation. Ghidorah summoned Rodan to help deal with Mothra. Mothra defeated Rodan and then sacrificed her life to save Godzilla from Ghidorah. This allowed Godzilla to finally destroy Ghidorah.
To capture King Ghidorah, you will need 5 chains.
Complete the following tasks
Neck 1: Read a chain of 3 books with a dragon in the story
Neck 2: Read a chain of 3 books with ice on the cover
Neck 3: Read a chain of 3 books published in 2019
Leg 1: Read a chain of 3 books with a terrorist
Leg 2: Read a chain of 3 books where someone or something is sacrificed
OMG, I'm going to have to buy a heap of book for this one, lol! I think I can justify one of my current books for sacrifice, but will need to do some digging for the rest...
Yup, I am going to search for stuff today as well. Perhaps it is time for a reread of a Tom Clancy novel. They often have terrorists in them.
Found a couple of audible+ books that I think will work. Just hoping they're not terrible, lol.

Please take some time and choose a team name. You will also need to choose which monster you want to catch first. Choose wisely because some monsters require more than others. As such, those monsters will net more points. Let me know when you have made your choices.

Rules
⛓️Each monster has specific chains and/or tasks that need to be completed.
Examples:
1. Create a chain of 3 using titles consecutively (ABC)
-All the Light We Cannot See
-Becoming Mrs. Lewis
-Catching Fire
2. Create a chain of 3 with "dog" in the titles
-Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of Nike
-The Dog Stars
-Hot Dog Girl
⛓️One person should NOT complete a whole chain by themselves. This is a team challenge. However, if a monster has multiple chains and a slower reader can only/want to only read for 1 or 2 chains (they must read at least one), then the other two faster readers on the team can complete the other chains between the two of them.
⛓️You may choose which monster from the list to capture first but you MUST complete it BEFORE starting a new creature.
⛓️You may use or drop articles: A, An, The
⛓️If you somehow manage to incorporate a Formal Buddy Read book into a chain, you will earn 2 bonus points. See the buddy read folder for the current book. They are also listed in the spreadsheet dropdown list (when your team has a thread & spreadsheet assigned to them).
⛓️Standard Rules Apply
⛓️At the end of the official challenge (last day of November), your team may choose to continue on at your own pace. There will be no points accumulated after November but you can finish any monsters that you didn't get to during the challenge.
Scoring
You will get 3 points for every completed book (9 per completed chain) PLUS page points.
