Worth to read after watching the show?

The Summer I Turned Pretty? Normally I read the book before I watch the movie/show but then it just ends up me never reading the book. Since season 3 isn’t coming out for a while, should I read the books? TIA 🫶🏻

I really think u should read the books first they rlly did Conrad dirty in the show

u should def read the book 4 tsitp bc the book is so much better than the show and they changed a lot in the show

I’ve heard the books are way better but I haven’t personally read them. I watched the tv show and season 1 was really good but season 2 is the most cringe thing I’ve ever seen besides Riverdale so I literally just googled the ending of the story because I don’t want to keep watching lol

honestly i could not get through the first book. i dnfed the first two times, and finally finished the third time. maybe thats js me
