Normal People by Sally Rooney - ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This book is the quite literally the "Betty", "Cardigan", and "August" collection in the Folklore album. I'm almost convinced Taylor read the book and wrote these songs in relation to the characters.

Your typical teenager drama love story with so much going on but at the same that you don't know wtf is actually happening. This book had way too much inner dialogue with absolutely no communication between the characters what so ever. It's one of those books that frustrated me to my core but I just couldn't put it down - almost like watching a reality tv show lol. Best thing about the book is that it was fast-paced and easy to read, despite its repetitiveness. But in all honesty, these songs make for a better story than the book imo.
