The story is about the life of a man who was born very unlucky in a universe that your past life's will effect your current one though karma like if u were a murder u would have more bad luck in your next life. I remember being pretty sad reading it. I think it was sci-fi but also romance.

I remember that when he was born all the cats died in the world or universe. As well that his mom is addicted to a virtual reality game. I do remember that it did end with he being married and had a happy life.Also he went to some school and he was a monk of some sort.
