When I was a young teenager 1967-1972 I read several books about a girl named Beanie. The books were about her family and the travails she encountered in school and life. I don’t remember the titles or the author but I’d like to find the books to share with my niece.

Could it be the Beany Malone series by Lenora Mattingly Weber? The first book is Meet the Malones
