Thanks for the picks. I've been going through this absolute horror binge lately, so this will be perfect.

Next time I’m swamped with work and miss my dates, this is just what our default will be. People just pick for the person either above them or below them 🤣🤣🤣

Book - Lone Women
Author - Victor LaValle
Date - 8/6/23
Rating - 4 Stars
Review - This book opens up with quite a mystery that doesn't get revealed until the middle of the book, but it had me hooked right from the beginning. I wanted to know why Adelaide was burning her childhood home to the ground along with the bodies of her dead parents and leaving town. I also wanted to know why in the heck she was carrying around a locked steamer trunk that even a grown man had trouble pulling. What happened that made her want to leave California and head for the ass end of Montana. There was a bit of a creep factor in it, but you soon discover that the real monsters are walking among the humans and not who you think they are.

A short story that sets the stage for another book about Tom in the series. This story was a lot better than the previous one which starred Liam.

Fast read. Could have been longer. It's an okay read if you're looking for something uncomplicated.
