Nicola | 96 comments 1. A book set in a location that begins with A, T, or Y - The Snake, the Crocodile and the Dog - Set in Armana - Egypt

2. A book by an author you read in 2022 - I'll be spoilt for choice her. I'm a chronic re-reader!

3. A book that fits a suggestion that didn’t make the 2023 list

4. A book with an interracial relationship - Any Way the Wind Blows (Simon Snow, #3) by Rainbow Rowell - One's a vampire and other is human (with extra dragon parts). That fits my definition of an interracial relationship :-)

5. A book with 4 or more colors on the cover - George by Alex Gino - This is a celebration of colour :-)

Nicola | 96 comments 6. A book where books are important - The Last Graduate - Set in school where books can save your life and the main character devotes most of her school year translating one specific book.

7. A book with ONE of the five "W" question words in the title - The Man Who Wasn't There: Investigations into the Strange New Science of the Self - A very interesting book!

8. An author's debut book - Welcome to St. Hell: My Trans Teen Misadventure - I loved this. I read it for Pride Month and it was hilarious.

9. A book nominated for an award beginning with W -

10. A book related to one of the Spice Girls' "personalities"

Nicola | 96 comments 11. A book about a person/character with a disability - The Ink Black Heart - I haven't finished this book yet but several of the characters are either definitely disabled (including the main character with an amputated leg) or possibly disabled (most of the people in the book are online so they might end up to have been lying to hide their true identities
