Jade Cassar | 1 comments I recommend Malibu Rising by TJR- it’s not her best book but it’s a fun light summer read which I got through easily 😊

Holes
The Secret Life of Bees
The Help

And basically anything by Sarah Dessen are all reads that felt like the kind of books I've wanted to (and often have) read outside on nice summer days in the sun.
Also, I don't know if you're into manga, but manga series always feel like fun summer reads to me. Some I'd recommend that might fit the criteria:
Ouran High School Host Club, Vol. 1
Fruits Basket, Vol. 1
D.N.Angel, Vol. 1
Maid-sama! Vol. 01
Sand Chronicles, Vol. 1
Wild Ones, Vol. 1

By the way, your post might get more notice if you change the topic title/header to something like "fun summer reads" 🙂
